GEORGIA TRIP

Tommy and I went to Macon, GA on Friday for his step-grandmother's 90th birthday. We rode together with his sisters Angie and Kathy, Kathy's daughters, Heather and Jenna, and Jenna's boyfriend, Ross. It was an interesting 8 hr trip. We watched movies, ate junk, slept, and got gassed out with Angie's "gas problems." Anyways, his grandmother was very nice and didn't look 90. We had the party Sat and came back home Sat night. All in all, we had a very nice time.

Chicks are getting big and the garden is looking good. Onions will be ready next week. YUM!!!!
Looking forward to the Ladies Retreat this weekend.

Newest Additions

Tommy and I are the proud parents of six girls! No not kids but chicks. We just got them to have fresh eggs every morning. They are Bonnie Lou, Betty Lou, Debbie Lou (named after her grandmother), Mary Lou, Thelma Lou, and Little Cindy Lou Who, that's Who. The cat was scared of them and the dogs want to play with them. Right now they are sleeping. Hope they sleep tonight!

This week we have most of the garden planted. So far we have potatoes, squash, carrots, cucumbers, radishes, and beets. We will plant tomatoes and beans later this week. Also we will be getting some chickens. I'm excited about that. Had a wonderful Easter. Spent Easter afternoon at Tommy's sister's house. Had good food and an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Work is going good. Very busy!

I Work Hard For The Money

Just got a phone call this morning at 8:30 am that I GOT A JOB! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be working 3 days a week for a peds office in Holly Springs. I will be the main receptionist. Praise the Lord. I really appreciate everyone's prayers. I start training this week and then next week I will be on my own. It won't be hard because my duties are the same that I did at the chiropractic office. I can wear jeans which is nice. I will keep you updated.

Green Thumb?

We are starting a new project here. We are putting in a garden with help from Mom and Ken. I loved our garden in NY when I was little and I always wanted one when I became married. I enjoy being outside and weed picking will give me plenty of that. Yesterday Mom brought over manure, she gets it free because the people she works for has horses. The manure smelled good (only if you grew up around it.) Mom raised horses up in NY so I was out every day cleaning stalls. Can you tell I was a tom-boy. Can't wait to start planting! Well let you know how it goes and let us know if you want anything. Also doing a flower garden out front. I really don't have a green thumb so this is going to be fun.
